Sibling love is a strange thing. We hate our siblings at times, and yet we would do absolutely anything for them. We mock them constantly and if anyone else was to ever mock them, we would defend them to death. We will physically fight them for things that don’t matter, like the front seat of the car or who gets to eat the last brownie but when it comes to things that matter we would lay down our lives to help them.
Recently one sibling went to extreme lengths for her sister, the best part, she had no idea it was happening. Rachel Merkel was about to be proposed to by her boyfriend. In order to make it that extra bit special he recruited her sister Therese who he knew would need no convincing to go over the top.
Preparation
Rachel and Andrew had been dating for some time, so when the time came to pop the question, Rachel´s family was very excited. When Andrew asked Rachel´s sister to help, Therese, of course, said yes and maybe went beyond the call of duty. Andrew wanted Therese to be the videographer of the moment when he asked Rachel the all-important question. Therese took this as a call to action and immediately went online to find a camouflage bush costume to hide in.
Andrew prepared the location, by the water, covered in flowers, he wrote a poem, and he had Rachel´s sister camping in a spot nearby. To be fair Therese only came up with the idea of wearing a bush as a joke, but Andrew liked it so much he purchased it and made it happen. He wanted everything to go perfectly.
And it did. Rachel said yes and the couple is now happily married. The good news is that we can finally report that Therese decided to wear a nice dress for the wedding and not any shrubbery.
