Not only do they light up our lives, but their adorable gestures are what make us cherish every moment on this planet. In fact, one couple in Brazil got to experience just that. According to a story released by La Republica, Tarsila Rosa together with her partner Flavio Dantas noticed something amazing about their newborn daughter Antonella. While she was still in the womb, father Flavio would talk to her every morning before he left for work so that he could foster a strong bond with her.
Crying out in tears
And on August 11th, Antonella finally came to this world. Once her father spoke to her, Antonella’s face couldn’t help but light up, immediately recognizing her father’s voice. The new parent couldn’t help but break down in tears. Overwhelmed, he realized that his daughter knew who he was. And to make things better, she was born on exactly on Father’s Day!
In a Facebook post, the mother wrote the most touching comment to appreciate her husband. It talked about how her precious girl was born on a day in Brazil that cherished fathers. And after seeing the tears of joy on Flavio’s face, she immediately forgot all the pain and struggles the two endured to get to that particular moment. How adorable!
While most fathers are accustomed to their children recognizing their mother’s voice first, this dad stole the mantle by putting in the work every day. Which goes to show that fathers are just as important in their children’s life as mothers. While they might not be around as much, a father’s affection is critical in giving a child the emotional intelligence required to thrive in this world.
